Our Pre-School Unit cares for 16 children aged between 3 and 5 years. We are OfSted registered with past reports being of an excellent standard.
Our activity programme is carefully planned to cover all the 6 Early Learning Goals. During the year, we work through many topics, for example "People who help us". This would involve setting up interest tables, turning our home corner into a doctor's surgery or a vet's practice and arranging for a fireman or a policeman to visit our nursery.
Parents will still receive the progress reports but in addition, we hold open evenings twice a year to enable parents to come and discuss their child's progress in more detail.
Government Grant Scheme
The term after your child's fourth birthday, s/he will be entitled to a maximum
of 5 sessions per week (morning or afternoon) each lasting two and a half hours,
funded by the Government. This is for term time only. We will be happy to assist
you in claiming this benefit.
